With the many debates on inequality of women in the workplace, some may ask, how do we fix this problem? How do we level the playing field? Some companies have already gotten a head start on the problem. With company policies and regulations on pay wages for employees, employers are working to ensure equality in the workplace. When it comes to our society as a whole, women have been becoming more predominant in the workforce. Rather than becoming stay at home moms after having a child, studies show that women are returning to the workplace. (Kennedy) Individually, women themselves should be a more confident employee. They should ask for raises when they believe they deserve them. Collectively, when women come together as a whole, equality will exist in the work force.
